The Deva IV from Zaxcom. "The Future is here, now!" I wrote in 2005. I have been recording to Hard Disk (and now solid state media) for over 13 years. My original Deva IV has now been superseded by a Deva 5.8 and Fusion from Zaxcom but that first machine was a real game changer. Here are my thoughts from February 2005 and here is my 2008 update.
